my guiding principles

a world where all beings are truly free is built by embodying freedom here, now

I believe in the possibility for all of us to live lives defined by dignity, inner and outer wellbeing, sovereignty, and personal and communal flourishing.  The wellbeing of the individual body is directly reflected and effected by the wellbeing of communities, ecologies and the cosmos. If true healing is to be sustained, it must happen collectively and ecologically.

Because my work intends to support not only those who can afford access to care but extend to the healing and liberation of beings who are inescapably impacted by social, economic, and political systems, my work simply cannot be neutral with regards to those systems.

I don't expect my clients to share in my beliefs for us to work together. In fact I invite discourse and celebrate diversity of thought. Though we exist and function within a capitalist system I strive to structure my life and business with values aligned with liberated ontologies.

That capitalism is unnatural; that the hoarding of resources amongst a wealthy elite is a moral and social abomination; that white supremacy is a violent mechanism through which oppressive hierarchies are maintained within a capitalist system on the basis of a fabricated notion known as “race” and the false superiority of whiteness; that poverty is a social failure on the part of a government, not an individual shortcoming; that war, imperialism, and colonialism are unjustifiable forms of violence that demonstrate a society’s inability to reckon with its own demons;

that coercion and punishment are illegitimate and unfruitful ways of relating with others or addressing problems; that the planet is a holy place worth saving from climate collapse; that indigenous peoples’ kinship with their ancestral homelands must be honored, celebrated, and sustained; that bodily autonomy is a fundamental right that must be respected lest none of our rights or dignity be honored; that abortion is a life-affirming choice; that no being is superior or inferior to any other by virtue of all having been made by a divine cosmos; that immigrants and refugees are not only deserving of welcome in foreign lands but are beautiful threads in the fabric of a community; that queer, trans, and gender-expansive experiences are reflections of an expansive understanding of divinity; that disability is a resounding invitation towards interdependence; that all humans are deserving of having their basic needs met with ease; that we are all worthy of experiencing community, joy, safety, and wellbeing; that a better world is possible; and that such a world is coming.
